A tight, solid copy of the book with a hint of foxing to the endpapers and a black mark on the front boards plus a very slight nick to the bottom of the rear board. VG+/G-. DJ is intact and present with the front cover showing Budge returning a shot via backhand, but there is heavy edgewear and some chipping to the top and bottom edges of the spine along with the rear cover. The front flap has a 1" rip at the top and the price is ripped off/clipped. Still a very rare book, particularly in dustjacket and showing Budge on the front cover in all his glory.
