Very Good condition. 6" X 9". Text block is near fine. 136 pages. Colored frontispiece. The text is illustrated throughout with domestic and pastoral scenes, woodcuts I suppose. Hinges are beginning to weaken, but are both intact. I find only one intrusion in the text consisting of a small crayon- like streak about an inch long. I have no German, but the subtitle reads as follows " Lehrbuch der deutschen Sprache fur Anfanger, besonders im Alter von 6 -- 10 Jahren". The cover is illustrated, though slightly rubbed, and the upper front cover hinge cloth is neatly and almost imperceptibly slit about 3".
